GRAFFITI RULZ THE WORLD
Submission rules, prizes and more
A. Target:
1. This project is related to any type of graffiti art.
2. If you are a graffiti writer be sure that this will be quite a challenge for you.
B. Style:
1. Try do do your best, be original and creative, be fresh.
2. You are free to choose: sketch, throwie, burner, wildsytle etc.
C. Medium:
1. Do it in your favourite way, be fresh and original.
2. You are free to choose: paper, wall, stencil, canvas, digital etc.
D. Valid entries:
1. Entries which will be accepted must follow the previous rules (B1, B2, C1, C2).
2. Once a week, on the official site will be available a new country name. This is called "Current Country". If you don't want to write it at that time, it's ok, you will find all the available names in the Dominated Countries Archive. To increase the graffiti domination over the world, you can check the DC Archive and draw any name from there, whenever you want.
3. Entries which will be accepted must contain:
- the name of the country you want to write
- your nickname (tag),
- your crew's name (if you are part of one),
- the most important, the four magikal words : "Graffiti Rulz The World" writen somewhere on or close to your graffiti work.
So, if you send me something else, your entry will be rejected.
4. Also, very important: Your work must be painted/airbrushed/filled only with the colours of the respective country's flag.
E. Submission:
1. Every entry consist in a photography (or a scan) of your graffiti artwork.
2. You will have to send it to me via e-mail (to: takethef.gold@yahoo.com), note me on deviantART, if you uploaded it there, or post it on your facebook acount and share the link on the official GRTW page
3. You will be featured on the Graffiti Rulz the World wabsite, in my deviantART journals and on facebook everytime you submit a new entry.
F. Prizes:
In order to manage the entries and artists (plus their other graffiti related activities), GOLD Graffiti Network introduces it's original judging system: the GOLDpoints or GPT. The participants will get varius prized when they will obtain certain amounts of GPT.
Note that the GPT have no value in real money.
G. The new Ranking System (June 2011 update)
GOLDpoints:
> As you already know, you get 10 GPT for each unique entry. If you like us on facebook you'll get +1 GPT for every entry you submit from then on. If you draw your own country, you'll get 25 GPT (the country needs to be Current Country or to be into the Dominated Countries Archive)
> You'll be awarded with +3 GPT for every friend you invite (they need to have deviantART or facebook account) - but you'll get the points only if your friend submits at least one entry.
Rank names and unlockable items:
> There will be army-like degrees for the participants from their first entry to the end of the project.
> Note that the ranks cannot be bought with GPT - that means, it doesn't matter how many GOLDpoints you have, you'll be promoted to the next degree depending on how many entries you have.
> Also, there were introduced some unlockable items and goodies, like logos, fonts, colours for your name to be written in the Rankings, nicknames and quotes under your names, free GRTW wallpapers for your desktop, and more stuff... see the list below for details.
